St. Irene of Thessalonica (or Thessaloniki) is venerated by both the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church. It was the youngest of three sisters and noble daughter of pagan parents. She was converted and took the name "Irene", a symbol of peace. It became a model to follow among the faithful, so that he received custody of the Sacred Books. Following the first edict of Nicomedia (with the obligation to destroy all the sacred books), he ran along the mountain sisters. Later, having moved in the city of Thessalonica, they were captured and sentenced to death.

Saint Irene (from Lecce), was a young very charming. He converted and destroyed some pagan statues of his father, sending him into a rage. Who then he tried to kill her, tying it to a runaway horse, remaining, however, he himself killed because of an animal bite. Later, Irene with his prayers brought back to life the father. It became, for this fact, a Christian model, which led to numerous conversions. The outcome of which was condemned to death.

Poetry of St. Irene lido

St. Irene, is my muse
and cradle the holidays
in a divine rest.

In its beaches, secret,
encloses the empyrean
with a sunny beach
water and sky.

Such is the providence,
that welcomes every trip,
every right, every essay.

Today hides under the water
the treasures of the sea:
The rescued life
in another hemisphere.

This blog was created in 2012 with the first works and phrases romantic inspired by classical poetry. Later in the 2013 pointed towards a creative line with the testing of the open source project that is of poems by multiple authors. In 2014 he published My metaphors , a study of the figures of speech with new definitions and ad hoc examples. In the same year, to coincide with the Milanese works for the Universal Exhibition of 2015, led EXPO project concerning the representation of the most famous Italian dishes. In 2015 focused attention on those increasingly popular crafts as the grinder or the cobbler. It was also facing classical and contemporary art with the spread of cultural events of all sorts, but always presented in a poetic. In 2016 he held particularly to highlight developments on environmental protection.
