The third paradise and life

Michelangelo Pistoletto is a contemporary Italian artist and was born in Biella in 1933. He made his first studies in his father's workshop and later attended the advertising graphics school run by Armando Testa. In the second half of the fifties specialized in the self (up to the realization of the mirror paintings). From the sixties onwards he was considered one of the protagonists of the Italian Arte Povera movement and created works with a strong religious-metaphysical symbolism.

Among his creations is the project of the Third Heaven, which is the existence through a new infinity symbol consisting of three "circles". That central symbolizes the state of "overshoot" and the coexistence of the two lateral opposite poles of nature and human artifice. The work is an invitation from the artist to find a sustainable way of life, indicating the possibility of reaching the survival of man and nature, reaching a state of symbiosis.

 The poem about life

And when you think about life,
you see beyond the look,
counting the years and fingers,
confused to form a memory.

That live to live loving,
that perhaps it does not make sense,
is an orphan child of the world,
common to all age.

Return the desire of love
by the lure of a maternal gesture.
Continue to turn the wheel:
to create life forever.

This blog was created in 2012 with the first works and phrases romantic inspired by classical poetry. Later in the 2013 pointed towards a creative line with the testing of the open source project that is of poems by multiple authors. In 2014 he published My metaphors , a study of the figures of speech with new definitions and ad hoc examples. In the same year, to coincide with the Milanese works for the Universal Exhibition of 2015, led EXPO project concerning the representation of the most famous Italian dishes. In 2015 focused attention on those increasingly popular crafts as the grinder or the cobbler. It was also facing classical and contemporary art with the spread of cultural events of all sorts, but always presented in a poetic. In 2016 he held particularly to highlight developments on environmental protection.
