Covid-19 the Italian tribute

Due to the Covid pandemic that has spread to Italy since January 2020, precautions have been imposed on all citizens to avoid contagion.

The same social distancing that became necessary to avoid contagion clashed with the need for young people to be in the premises, with the need for workers to participate in meetings, with the requests of the faithful to celebrate religious ceremonies and with the need everyone's closeness in the saddest moments.

These precautionary rules have proved indispensable to contain the spread of the virus and at the same time have changed the way of life. To make up for the change, more widespread use has been made of recent technologies and internet telecommunication networks.

Despite the changes, positive results for the environment, the human needs of sociability and trust in the future remain unchanged.

Poetry to the ancestors

To this life in the fragile world,
so uphill it seems over,
we give thanks in the deep sense.

With the ideal of a fruitful day,
of strength equal to the most current time,
we will not follow a wandering star.

To us who ask, I answer,
we are the passage of the embroidery stitch,
we are the ivy on the background wall.
